Wedding photographer in Køge. Ceremony, portraits, and your gallery within four weeks.
I photograph the ceremony, the walk through the old streets, and the harbour after.
Køge weddings, photographed with an editorial eye.
I am here to capture your love, the raw emotions, and the beauty of your relationship. To keep those memories forever.
I’m Kim, a photographer based in Copenhagen. Originally from Germany, I spent years shooting for commercial brands, actors, and models before focusing on elopements and town hall weddings. Inspired by nature, Scandinavia, movement, and the sea, my style is natural, emotional, and minimalistic.
That background is useful here. I know how to work with available light, how to move through a city, find different backgrounds, and how to make people feel comfortable in front of a camera.
Køge is a short trip south from Copenhagen, with one of the oldest market squares in Denmark. I like the streets and pretty corners, and can recommend the harbour and the beach as a location. I plan the route with perfect backgrounds for you, so you can relax.
I photograph all love stories, without exception.
From couples who chose to work with Kim

Maleen & Olli“Her relaxed and friendly manner made us feel at ease right away. She captured our ceremony and couple shoot with great attention to detail, and the pictures turned out beautifully.”
Tine & Lars“When we got married in September 2024, Kim helped immortalise our dream wedding. We love every single one of the photos she took and can highly recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer for their upcoming wedding.”

Køge offers the perfect mix of historic streets and coastal views. I know how to guide you through both and find the right locations and backgrounds for you.
The city hall sits on Torvet, the old market square. From there the half-timbered streets, the harbour, and the beach are all close by. I plan locations based on the season, the weather and the light, and how you would like the photos to feel.
Køge City Hall
On Torvet, the main square. One of the oldest town halls in Denmark, with the market square right outside the door.
The Old Streets
Half-timbered houses and cobbled lanes around Kirkestræde, home to some of the oldest houses in the country. Quiet and full of character.
Køge Harbour
A working harbour and marina, masts and open water. A few minutes from the square, with soft light in the evening.
Køge Beach
Sand and open sky south of the marina, about a 17-minute walk from the square. Room to breathe and a wide horizon.
What couples usually ask
Yes, and often. Denmark is one of the most welcoming countries in the world for LGBTQ couples. I photograph same-sex, mixed, and non-binary couples without any difference in how I work or what you receive.
Civil ceremonies at Køge City Hall are typically 5 to 10 minutes. My packages run from 2 to 4.5 hours in total. Each one starts when we meet, usually 15 to 20 minutes before the ceremony, and covers the ceremony plus portrait time in the city.
No. I work in English with most of my clients, and I also speak German. The majority of couples I photograph come from outside Denmark. Denmark is one of Europe’s most international and straightforward places to get married.
Civil ceremonies take place at Køge City Hall on Torvet, the historic market square in the centre of town. The square and the old streets around it are some of the best backdrops in Køge, all a short walk from the door.
Your gallery is delivered within four weeks via a private online link, ready to download or share.
My packages are priced for Copenhagen. For a wedding in Køge, a travel fee of €95 applies, which covers my transport south from Copenhagen. Everything else in the package stays the same.
