Aabenraa Town Hall is the centre of the day. Old Street is an eight minute walk, and Sønderstrand and the castle grounds are a few minutes by car, so the settings change completely without travelling far.

A calm, focused ceremony room I know well. I arrive early, work quietly around the registrar, and catch everything that matters before you walk back out into the daylight as a married couple.
Old Street
An eight minute walk from the ceremony, and one of the best-preserved streets in the old town. Half-timbered buildings, cobblestones, and warm stone facades that have barely changed in two hundred years. On shorter packages this is usually where most of the portrait time goes.
Sønderstrand
Aabenraa's city beach, seven minutes by car along Strandpromenaden. A bathing jetty runs out into the fjord and the views across the water are open in every direction, a strong horizontal line the old town streets cannot offer.
Brundlund Castle grounds
Three minutes by car. The 15th-century castle sits on a moated island at the southern edge of the centre, with mature trees, a moat bridge, and a sculpture garden. The grounds are open to the public and free to use.
