Most of my couples travel from abroad to marry here. I work at a relaxed pace, in natural light, and I guide you through the portraits so you always know where to stand and what to do.     Choosing your town

    Every town in the region handles civil ceremonies a little differently, and the schedule often decides the choice for you. Gråsten marries couples at Det Gamle Rådhus on Fridays in odd calendar weeks, Nordborg at Nørherredhus on Fridays in even weeks. Tønder offers weekday ceremonies plus Saturday mornings, and Haderslev holds ceremonies on Fridays and Saturday mornings. Aabenraa, my home town, is where I photograph most often. If your date is fixed, it may choose the town for you; if the setting matters more, pick the town first and find a date that fits.

    Most couples who marry in Southern Denmark come from Germany, the Netherlands, or elsewhere in Europe. The process here is straightforward, the settings are beautiful, and the days tend to be calm and unhurried.

    Which cities in Southern Denmark do you photograph weddings in?

    I photograph weddings in Aabenraa, Gråsten, Tønder, Sønderborg, Nordborg, Haderslev, Kolding, Christiansfeld, Esbjerg, Ribe, and on the island of Ærø. Travel fees apply outside Aabenraa and are always quoted clearly before booking. If your city is not listed, get in touch and I will let you know.

    What is the most popular town hall wedding location in Southern Denmark?

    Aabenraa is where I photograph the most weddings. The town hall is central, the nearby locations are varied and beautiful, and the town itself has real character.     How long does it take to receive the photos?

    Your gallery is delivered within 4 weeks of the wedding day. You will receive a link to a private online gallery where you can view, download, and share all images.

    Do you photograph weddings in South Jutland, near the German border?

    Yes. South Jutland is my home region. I live in Aabenraa, about half an hour from the German border, and I regularly photograph weddings in border towns like Tønder and Gråsten. Many of my couples drive up from Germany in the morning, marry at the town hall, and are back home the same evening.

    Yes. Once you have booked, I schedule a Planning Call and go through portrait locations with you. I know the area well and can suggest places that match what you are looking for. You can also bring your own ideas.
