Wedding photographer in Roskilde. Ceremony, portraits, and your gallery within four weeks.
I photograph the ceremony, the walk through the old town, and the fjord after.
Roskilde weddings, photographed with an editorial eye.
I am here to capture your love, the raw emotions, and the beauty of your relationship. To keep those memories forever.
I’m Kim, a photographer based in Copenhagen. Originally from Germany, I spent years shooting for commercial brands, actors, and models before focusing on elopements and town hall weddings. Inspired by nature, Scandinavia, movement, and the sea, my style is natural, emotional, and minimalistic.
That background is useful here. I know how to work with available light, how to move through a city, find different backgrounds, and how to make people feel comfortable in front of a camera.
Roskilde is a short trip from Copenhagen, where the old town meets the fjord. I scout and curate your route beforehand, from the historic streets around Stændertorvet, through the park and down to the water and towards the harbour. You can just relax, explore, and feel every moment.
I photograph all love stories, without exception.
From couples who chose to work with Kim

Maleen & Olli“Her relaxed and friendly manner made us feel at ease right away. She captured our ceremony and couple shoot with great attention to detail, and the pictures turned out beautifully.”
Tine & Lars“When we got married in September 2024, Kim helped immortalise our dream wedding. We love every single one of the photos she took and can highly recommend her to anyone who needs a photographer for their upcoming wedding.”

Roskilde pairs an old cathedral town with the fjord. I scout the route in advance so both work in your favour.
The city hall sits by Stændertorvet in the old town. From there the surrounding streets, the park above the water, and the fjord harbour are all close by. I plan locations based on the season, the weather and the light, and how you would like the photos to feel.
Roskilde City Hall
By Stændertorvet in the old town, a few steps from the cathedral. The square and surrounding streets are right outside.
The Old Streets
Cobbled lanes and old houses around Stændertorvet and Algade. Quiet, characterful, and a short walk from the city hall.
Byparken
A green park that slopes down toward Roskilde Fjord, with open views over the water. Soft light and space in the evening.
Roskilde Harbour
The fjord harbour, with the Viking ships and wide water. Open sky and a calm horizon a short way downhill from the centre.
What couples usually ask
Yes, and often. Denmark is one of the most welcoming countries in the world for LGBTQ couples. I photograph same-sex, mixed, and non-binary couples without any difference in how I work or what you receive.
Civil ceremonies at Roskilde City Hall are typically 5 to 10 minutes. My packages run from 2 to 4.5 hours in total. Each one starts when we meet, usually 15 to 20 minutes before the ceremony, and covers the ceremony plus portrait time in the city.
No. I work in English with most of my clients, and I also speak German. The majority of couples I photograph come from outside Denmark. Denmark is one of Europe’s most international and straightforward places to get married.
Yes. Byparken slopes down toward Roskilde Fjord, and the harbour with its Viking ships is a short way downhill from the centre. The water gives a calm, open backdrop that works well in the evening light.
Your gallery is delivered within four weeks via a private online link, ready to download or share.
My packages are priced for Copenhagen. For a wedding in Roskilde, a travel fee of €49 applies, which covers my transport from Copenhagen. Everything else in the package stays the same.
